Simply contact us via our website’s Contact Us page. We typically begin with an initial discussion to understand your needs, followed by a fee quote. If you decide to proceed, we will carry out the Know-Your-Client process and issue a formal engagement letter before commencing work.

2. What can I expect during the initial discussion?

The initial discussion focuses on understanding your situation and assessing whether we are able to assist. It is not a commitment to proceed, but a conversation to explore how we can help. In some situations, we may respectfully decline to proceed with an initial discussion if we determine that we are not best placed to assist you.

3. How are your legal fees structured?

We generally charge for legal services in the following ways:

Fixed Fee Basis:
For legal matters with a clearly defined scope, we offer a fixed fee arrangement. Fixed fee matters are typically subject to agreed limits on the overall engagement period and the number of rounds of redrafting, amendments, and comments.

Retainer Basis / Time Basis:
For matters that are more open-ended or varied in nature, we may engage on a retainer or time basis.

Retainer Basis: Clients pre-pay for a certain number of hours of legal services to be used within an agreed timeframe.

Time Basis: Time spent on a matter is recorded and billed periodically based on actual usage.

4. Can you assist clients located outside of Singapore?
Yes, we regularly assist overseas clients. However, there must be a connection to Singapore law — for example, where the legal matter involves Singaporean entities, assets, transactions governed by Singapore law, or regulatory obligations in Singapore.

5. How long will it take to resolve my legal matter?
We will do our best to provide an estimated timeline at the outset based on the information available. However, timelines may change due to factors beyond our control, such as responses from third parties, regulatory processes, or the complexity of issues that arise during the course of the matter.
